ARKA: A FULL SISTER TO ARKO III

Arka’s sire, Argentinus (by Argentan I) enjoys a very good reputation as a supplier of showjumping horses. In 2005, Argentinus was laurelled in the Hannoverian studbook as ‘Hengst des Jahres’. For many years Argentinus belonged to the top 100 of the WBFSH ranking for the best suppliers of showjumping horses as well as dressage horses, which underlines his versatility. Many descendants of Argentinus are performing in the international showjumping world, amongst them All Star 5 (Denis Lynch), Arcado L (Lars Bak Andersen), Atlantys by Wisbecq (Aldrick Cheronnet) and A Lee Spring Power (Johnny Pals).

One of the most famous descendants of Argentinus on the international showjumping scene is Arko III. Partnered with Nick Skelton, he jumped at the highest level, including the participation at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, the Donaueschingen 2003 and San Patrignano 2005 European Championship, the Las Vegas 2005 World Cup final and the victory in the Calgary 2008 Grand Prix. Arko III is a full brother to Arka. Why should you hesitate to buy Arka? Amati P.M.S, another full sister to Arka and Arko III, jumped at S-level. Amati P.M.S. produced several approved stallions, such as Tsunami de Hus (1m45 to 1m50 level, Mohammed Ahmed Al Owais and formerly at two- to five-star level in partnership with Maxime Harmegnies), Defi de Hus, Feroce de Hus Z and Anibale de Hus. Last year, Amati P.M.S.’s daughter Unnati de Hus was sold at the ‘Flanders Mare Auction’ at 32,000 euros.
