NALU-K VAN ’T KATTENHEYE: A HALF-SISTER TO THE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMER INDOKTRO-K VAN ’T KATTENHEYE

Nalu-K van ’t Kattenheye is a daughter of Action-Breaker (by Heartbreaker). Action-Breaker performed at the highest level under Spain’s Sergio Alvarez Moya. They finished for instance third and seventh in the Grand Prix of Aachen (respectively in 2010 and 2011), second in the Cannes Grand Prix (2011), fifth in the Paris Grand Prix (2011), first with the Spanish team during the Nations’ Cup in Barcelona (2012), plus several honourable placings in World Cup classes. In the international showjumping world Action-Breaker enjoys a very good reputation as a supplier of successful showjumpers, amongst them Fixdesign Funke van ’t Heike (Christian Ahlmann), Dobra de Porceyo (Schuyler Riley), S L Elite (ex-F-Dingemanse, Dorothy Douglas), Fifty Fifty 111 (Andres Rodriguez), Elixir St (Marta Bartolome Redondo) and Farfelu du Printemps (Julia Madigan).

Nalu-K’s dam is Eloubet van de Doorndonkhoeve. In her pedigree she carries the performance blood of progenitors Kannan and Baloubet du Rouet, respectively fifth and ninth in the most recent WBFSH ranking for the best suppliers of showjumping horses. Eloubet underlined several times her value in the international showjumping world. She produced performers, such as Indoktro-K van ’t Kattenheye and Jappelou-K van ’t Kattenheye. This year, the Indoctro son Indoktro K van ’t Kattenheye has performed at 1m45 to 1m50 level during two- up to four-star showjumping tournaments in Wellington. Partnered with Jan Vermeiren, Jappelou-K van ’t Kattenheye is competing at two-star level. Last year, Nalu-K’s full sister Moncherie-K van ’t Kattenheye, was finalist in the Belgian championship for four-year-old showjumpers in Gesves. This year, Moncherie is ex-aequo winner of the cycle for five-year-old showjumpers, under the saddle of Matthias Hens.
