Farley is a son of a young top sire Obourg. This Richebourg son is no doubt one of the most regular jumping horses of his generation; Last year Obourg won a 5th place in the 6-y-old horses cycle and this year Joris Van Dijck drove this talented sire without hesitation to a brilliant 6th rank, which qualified him for the WC in Zangersheide.Prisca, Farley’s mother, is a Holland daughter , who ran GPs under Eddie Macken and who is today one of the top transmitters in The Netherlands with horses such as Oklund, one of the toppers in Eric Van der Vleuten’s stable.
The grandgrandmother Violetta, produced 2 Z jumpers who were exported to Germany and France.
From the same stock descend Charming Lady, national champion Z-jumping, Desperado, GP jumping horse in the USA and the American GP dressage horse Grimeur.
