The Holsteiner, Contact vd Heffinck is not only one of the most popular stallions in Belgium but he confirms his reputation in sports as well as in breeding. With Dirk de Meersman , Contact is already able to bring marked results as a 6-year-old on a 3- and 4- stars CSI, as in Bourg -en -Bresse and Maubeuge (France).Contact’s products are eagerly sought after as shown on the Evergem Auction for colts in 2006 & 2007 where Giovanni di Cantero and Hamlet were sold for 17,000€ and 20,000€.
Ucrece de Cheux, Houdini’s mother was a 4-, 5- and 6-year-old finalist on the BC in Gesves and later on ran successfully in the sports till a 1.40 m level.
The grand-mother, Nymphe de Cheux, is at the same time mother of the sires Vainquer de Cheux and Jericho de Cheux, and of the national jumpers Croupier de Cheux and Heroine de Cheux.
From the direct Houdini mother line come the colts and international jumpers Nabab de Rêve, Illico de Rêve and Beau Veneur.
