After a very successful and steady career with the young horses where he won just about all there is to win, Obourg was sold to the US. With his rider Lisa Jacquin he jumps with ease at 1.60m GP level. Obourg’s offspring also jump very well: for instance, the 6 year old Cherbourg who jumps with Cindy Van Der Straten and already produces international results.Floriane v/d Kasteelhoeve, the mother of Igior is a daughter of Apollo v/h Lindehof, the son of Skippy II who worked internationally with Harry Smolders.
