The BWP stallion Basje jumped extraordinarily well with the young horses under the saddle of Koen Vereecke. In fact, he jumped so well that “Captain Canada” Ian Millar himself came to Belgium to take a closer look at this astonishing jumping talent. And then the inevitable happened, Basje changed his owner and his name and from now he caused a stir under the name Dryden with victories in Wellington, Palgrave, Caledon etc.Charlotte-Capitana, the mother of Jordan DC, is a daughter of the Holsteiner Capitol II who himself jumped at 1.30 m level. Her daughter Wiske van ’t Smeedshof (v. Zeus) performs remarkably at CSIO – 1.60 m level. With Gregoire Oberson she was part of the Swiss team at the CSIO***** Hickstead this year.
Wiske van ’t Smeedshof also has a winning son in Centurion van ’t Smeedshof who is a success at the CSI-1.40 m level under Jörgen Larsson.
