ABOUT
The pony foal that will be auctioned for charity this year, is the beautiful little mare MAAIKE VAN DE GROENHEUVEL.Maaike is a great pony filly that catches the eye with her beautiful exterior. She shows a lot of blood and considering her lineage this is not a surprise. In the 3rd and 4th generation there is excellent Arabian blood with Merafic ox and Samir ox.
On top of that, she has a fantastic gait with which she convinced the jury at the BRP- foal championship of Pulderbos, Belgium. She obtained a well-deserved 3rd place amidst very strong competition.
Beside her charisma and great gait, she also has a dream bloodline.
Her sire, the young but promising pony stallion Gero van de Vondelhoeve, already has an impressive range of accomplishments including the Provincial Chamionship title. He is a son of Vario van de Mispelaere, who was sold internationally for a small fortune. His dam, Kantje’s Madonna,also produced the successful pony sire Calipso van de Vondelhoeve.
Maaike’s mother has as sire Mentos and this stallion is a big name in modern international pony breeding. He was a living legend in Germany and at the end of the 90’s was at the top of the list for German jumping pony stallions. But also today he has a fixed place in the Top 10 of German jumping pony testators.
