The Holsteiner stallion Clinton I is a very special stallion who doesn't just stand out from the pack because of his performance at 1.60m GP level under Thomas Voss but also through his progeny who are doing exceptionally well in the sport, such as Coolidge, Cliquot, Cliostro, Sir Clinton, Citou etc.Fleur v/h Appelsvoordehof, the dam of Maestro, is a half sister of the European champion free jumping Heaven v/h Appelsvoordehof and of Ivor v/h Appelsvoordehof who is listed 14th in France in the cycle for four year olds.
The granddam Quinette v/h Appelsvoordehof is a half sister of Heidi v/h Appelsvoordehof who in turn is the granddam of the GP 1.60 m stallion Vangelis (Robert Smith). Heidi is also the third mother of the international jumpers Gamco S from Joe Clee and Ense v/d Brandakker under Niels Bryunseels. From the direct dam line also come the international jumping horses Quinten T, Quasimodo T, Jolie Fleur de Lys and Woodpecker de Villars.
