Mark your calendars for Saturday the 3rd of August, as the 22nd edition of the Horseman Elite Auction is set to attract sport and breeding enthusiasts worldwide. This is a can’t-miss event for anyone looking to enrich their stables with top Belgian genes. Hosted at the Azelhof in Lier, this auction features an excellent collection of foals, along with a few broodmares and embryos. The collection offers offspring of Olympic heroes like Ermitage Kalone, Foncetti van de Heffinck and Uricas van de Kattevennen.
Over the years, the Horseman Elite Auction has built a strong reputation both domestically and internationally. This success is due to our consistent delivery of a quality collection every year, a tradition that has been continued in 2024.
Olympic sires
The three stallions Ermitage Kalone, Foncetti van de Heffinck and Uricas van de Kattevennen, who are set to compete in the Paris Olympic Games, each have a foal in this collection. Additionally, an embryo from the German-selected stallion United Touch S will be auctioned. As is well-known, damlines are equally crucial for success. The Horseman Elite Auction features some of the most prestigious (Belgian) damlines in this collection. Notable examples include Bizet Optimus (Diamant de Semilly directly from the 1.60m mare Cacacha van het Schaeck), Touch Me vd Berghoeve Z (Toulon from the half-sister of multiple Grand Prix winner Gancia de Muze), Hey Pretty Boy E4U Z (Heartbreaker from the full sister of the Olympic top sire Emerald van ’t Ruytershof), and Broy van de Bisschop (Emerald van ’t Ruytershof from the 1.40m mare Koriana van Klapscheut, whose granddam is the 1.60m level mare Coriana van Klapscheut). Other interesting foals by sires such as Comme Il Faut, Zirocco Blue VDL, Baloubet du Rouet, Eldorado van de Zeshoek, Dominator 2000 Z and Bacardi VDL will also be up for auction.
Invest in the future
Breeders can also invest in outstanding broodmares like Nialotta Z, a Nonstop daughter and offspring of Edwina Tops-Alexander’s former top horse Isovlas Pialotta, who competed in two European Championships, the World Cup final, and the WEG in Aachen. Another broodmare out of a first-class damline is Demoiselle du Toultia Z (s.Diamant de Semilly), who has already produced two 1.45m level showjumpers and is in foal to Belgian Olympic hopeful Ermitage Kalone for 2025.
